Pelosi proves Her Own Record of Failure
The 9/11 Commission's final report card came out this week, and no suprise, Nancy Pelosi decided to point fingers at the Bush administration. "The 9/11 Commission's final report card is an indictment of the continued failure by the Bush Administration and the Republican Congress to meet the security needs of our nation and make Americans safer," she said in a press release.

But what's the real story? NRCC Communication Director Carl Forti says, we need to look at Pelosi's voting to see her "latest round of hypocritical rhetoric." He said, "Nancy Pelosi's record on the issue is an indictment of the consistent failure of the Minority Leader to provide for our country's national security needs."

Back in 2004, Pelosi voted against merely expressing support for the efforts of the intelligence community. She also voted against classifying terrorist detentions and interrogations as fundamental to the successful prosecution of the War on Terror, and voted against funding for the PATRIOT Act.

She voted against funding for the Bureau of Customs and Border Protection and the Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and voted against exempting agencies with sensitive intelligence information from the Freedom of Information Act.

Her shameful record goes on and on and on...,but its failure by the Bush Administration and the Republican Congress?
